The popular annual two- week celebration of music and the arts in St Ives is back this month following the unavoidable cancellation of the 2020 festival due to the coronavirus pandemic. The first ever St Ives September Festival took place in 1978, and the event has evolved over the decades in to what is now one of the leading cultural festivals in the UK. The 2021 festival will take place from 11th to the 25th September. Despite this year’s festival being organised in a much shorter timescale and with a smaller team, it still boasts an extensive programme of Music, Theatre, Films, Open Studios, Exhibitions, Workshops and much more which will all take place at a variety of venues and locations throughout St Ives. The full calendar of events can be found on the website; where you can also book tickets.
