Situated on Market Jew Street in the centre of Penzance, Circa 21 is an independent gift shop and gallery spread over two floors (including Sophie Dennett’s Open Studio.)
Established in 2014 by jewellery designer Esme Burton and recognised as a ‘Plastic Free Champion’, the dog-friendly Circa 21 boasts a variety of jewellery, ceramics, furniture, homeware, textiles, prints and natural skincare.
You will find works by well-known Cornish makers such as St Eval Candles, Atlantic Blankets, Cornish Bird in the Sticks, Humble Cottage among many

This Christmas why not shop local and spend some time at Circa 21. Throughout December there will be a Christmas Exhibition; ‘Gwavos II’ in the upstairs gallery, which will include gifts made by Humble Cottage, Nature of Paper and Julia Crimmen.
Circa 21 is open Monday – Saturday, 10am until 4pm. It will be open until 8pm on Thursday 19th December for late night Christmas shopping and will also open from 11am until 3pm on Sunday 22nd December for those last minute Christmas purchases.
