A collective of businesses based on Chapel Street in Penzance recently came together to form ‘The Chapel Street Traders Association’. The ethos of the association is to work together to promote and increase footfall to what is known as the most historic street in Penzance.
One of the primary aims of the newly formed association is to host a variety of events in the street throughout the year that can be enjoyed by everyone and that will showcase the variety of great things that the independent local businesses on the street have to offer.
The first of these events will be held on Saturday 7th April as Chapel Street’s traders and residents come together, emptying their cupboards and store rooms to hold a Table Top Sale… a fun-filled community day raising money for local charities. The sale starts at 10am and the street will be closed to traffic allowing shoppers to browse freely amongst a variety of entertainment and refreshments.
This is sure to be a great event, bring your friends and family and grab a bargain whilst at the same time raising money for worthy local causes.
If you are a resident or trader on Chapel Street you will have received a letter from Chapel Street Traders Association informing you of who to contact if you wish to participate in the event.
