A popular choice with locals and visitors alike and offering a tantalising menu of fresh local produce alongside a variety of local ales and spirits The Turks Head is situated on Chapel Street and is reputedly the oldest pub in Penzance.
Highly acclaimed chef and Masterchef finalist Lee Groves serves a varied menu which is a combination of traditional favourites, some with a quirky twist and new modern dishes.
The Turks Head hosts regular special themed evenings. The next of these is a Winter Warmer Gourmet Night on the 16th November. The menu for this evening will consist of warming Winter comfort food with a choice of two or three courses. The themed evenings are very popular so booking is advised.
The first Sunday of each month at The Turks is Quiz Night. The Quiz Nights are a fun evening out with an entry fee of just £1 per person and proceeds donated to local charities. The leaders at half time win a round of drinks and overall winners of the quiz win a bottle of wine to take away.
Bookings are now being taken for The Christmas menu; two courses at £17.95 or three courses at £19.95. There is a £10 deposit per person to secure your booking and a free bottle of wine for parties of six people and over (providing the deposit is paid by 25th November).
New Year will be celebrated in style with a prize for the best fancy dress costume.
